DirecTV receivers are the property of their equipment and no spare parts available. The best source for parts of it to a recipient that does not work and they buy for parts, but even that is hard to do, since almost all of DirecTV HR20-be receiver / DVR will be rented by the customer and must be returned to DirecTV if you disable or no longer work. The hard drive data and power cables can be a generic standard cable for computers used in the building, but the assembly of the disc tray is a custom manufactured products.
If you do not know what you're doing, I try to repair it yourself wouuldnt. You can KUASI a short that could subsequently trigger and cause a fire. Or worse. Why not just set up a service and call the service technician to replace?
If you knew how the team has an idea of where to find the pieces.
What are the internal parts? The only element that can replace the hard drive. WeaKnees has parts from other receptors, and a 1.5 TB drive in my HD DVR.
